What an incredible opportunity it was!

Simone has always aspired to be an international legal speaker and, in her first lecture, she had the honor of sharing the space to speak with distinguished people in international law and politics, the Director General of the Civil Status Commission and the Head of Portugal’s IRN. She provided her academic and practical knowledge on the discussion for the future of international documents in the context of the evolution of social relations, gender equality and the right to gender-free identification in the scenario of globalization and mobility of people.

We invite you to pay close attention to her introduction video segment. As Simone said, “Europe is not the world”, which means that European governments also have to be aware of situations involving non-European documents – international documents that are not covered and are not resolved by European regulations.
